34 weeks 3 days

I had my 34 week Dr. appointment this past Tuesday & they are thrilled I'm still hanging on. Really no changes from the week before. The babies look great on the ultrasound! I am counting down the minutes to March 9th! I'm trying to stay as positive as possible but the discomfort at times gets the best of me. The anticipation of meeting these little guys is definetly keeping me going. Rick and I really need to start deciding on names! We have a half dozen or so we're considering but then we need middle names too!! We are tring to get organized and to utilize our space efficiantly. Thanks J for the the suggestions! My last Dr. appointment before delivery is next Tuesday.....I'll keep you posted!

Update!

Just had another appointment on Tuesday. I am now 33 weeks and 2 days! We had yet another ultrasound to measure growth & these little guys are growing tremendously. Baby A is apx. 4lbs 4oz, baby B (the little guy) is 3lbs 13oz, and Baby C is apx. 4lbs 10oz. So we are looking at 13 lbs of baby not to mention 3 placentas!!! We have scheduled the c-section for 36 weeks, which will be Tuesday March 9th. Granted we could still have them at any time. This seems so far away but in reality it's only a short 18 days away. I'm doing well despite the the discomfort, heartburn, exhaustion, not to mention my out of control hormones (thanks M for the chat)! The kids are excited but really have no idea how things are going to change. I don't think Rick and I even know how things are going to change! We hope to keep the kids schedules as normal as possible as we make this enormous adjustment. WOW! This is really happening!

Belly Shots!

Here are some overdue belly pictures. I'm now 32 weeks & 4 days! The next Dr. appointent is tomorrow afternoon. We are really looking forward to this one because they are checking the growth of the babies. I'm guessing they are 4lbs plus! If I go another couple weeks they may just come home with us! Melissa ordered the cutest newborn hats for their newborn pictures.... I can hardly wait to see them all snuggled up!! We are all doing well here. I am doing a lot less and am quite slow with everything I do, but no official bed rest. I'll post any updates tomorrow night. We can't thank you all enough for all your love & support!!!

32 weeks!

I've made it to 32 weeks! Carrying triplets has finally caught up to me. I am mostly homebound now trying to relax as much as possible. My goal is to get to at least 34 weeks. However, this is going to be the longest couple of weeks of my life. And then I could still go longer! It sounds like if nothing happens we will meet these little guys by 36 weeks. I have a feeling I'm looking at another 2weeks or so.
I had another Dr. appointment yesterday & they did some sort of bio-physical testing to make sure the babies were doing well. It is routine for high risk pregnancies. Each baby has 30 minutes to do certain movements & they check to see if the babies are breathing so they check the diaphram for expansion & contraction. Baby A, probably a bit sleepy wasn't cooperating so as a percaution his fetal heart rate was monitered to make sure the heart rate increased with movemnet. Everything turned out great! The babies have adequate fluids & are getting bigger with each day. Everyday in utero is one less day in the NICU!!!!! At this rate they may come right home!
So many people have expressed wanting to volunteer & help in some way after the babies arrive. This will be an absolute God send! Unfortunetly I havn't kept a list of these people. I'm in the process of trying to figure out what we need, whether it's help with Reilly and/or help with feeding rocking etc. I hope to send out an email soon to get an idea of who wants to volunteer & to find out what day/time/frequency each person is available.
Rick & I feel so blessed to have you all in our lives! The love and support has already been so tremendous! This is going to be an incredible journey and we're overjoyed to share this miracle with all of you!!

31 weeks & 4 days!

Here is a 3D ultrasound of baby C at about 22 weeks.....so sweet!

It's hard to belive these little guys could be here any time now! We are getting really excited to meet them. I'de love to say I'm catching up on my sleep now, but there is little sleeping being pregnant with triplets! I'll be so releived when the heart burn is gone! So far no change since my last post. My next appointment will be on Tuesday. We are really looking forward to the peace of mind that the babies are doing well. I'm really hoping to get to at least 34 weeks but I'm starting to really slow down a lot.
I had the chance to talk with another mom with triplets this week! They also had 3 children prior to having the triplets. It was so nice to chat with someone who has been there. She really had some great things to offer! Thanks Kiki!!!!
I am definetly due for another belly shot. I feel like it's doubled in size since 28 weeks. I'll have an update & some photos up mid-week.
I had diner Friday night with some great friends from work & had such a great time! I really miss everyone terribly. Thanks girls for a great evening and the shower.......I love you all!!!! Can't thank you all enough for everything!
